# Robotics procurement: configuration and SDK access

For research labs and integration teams. A robot body, development platform and complete workcell can involve different configurations and responsibilities.

## Confirm the exact configuration

- Product, edition, serial or configuration code and firmware.
- Written confirmation of developer permissions for that edition.
- SDK version, operating system, interfaces and supported examples.
- Payload, reach, workspace, end effectors, fixtures and cameras.
- Batteries, charging, transport packaging and replacement parts.
- Destination availability, training, warranty and service arrangements.

[Unitree SDK2](https://github.com/unitreerobotics/unitree_sdk2) and [UFACTORY xArm Python SDK](https://github.com/xArm-Developer/xArm-Python-SDK) are public technical references. A public repository does not establish identical access across every SKU or a commercial relationship with CNPS.

## Define the experiment

Specify the task, representative objects, permitted motions and human involvement. Name a qualified operator and the person responsible for site safety. Start in simulation where possible, then use controlled, supervised tests.

Count successful attempts against all attempts. Preserve failed runs, recovery times and changes made to the configuration. A short successful video does not show the rate of failure or the amount of operator assistance.

## Prepare the request

Share the destination, research or industrial task, preferred platform, development requirements, quantity, timeline and local support plan. CNPS can discuss the procurement requirement; specific supply and support scope must be confirmed.
